How To Always Have Instagram Content

But there’s only so many gram’s you can post of your latest holiday or weekend exploring. So what do you do when you’ve scraped through the last of your camera roll and there’s still no content…
Why can’t I always be in the Maldives I hear you cry? As wonderful as that would be for us all, it’s unrealistic. It’s time to look closer to home, and so – here’s why you don’t need to travel far to keep up with content for your Instagram account.
Take Inspiration From What’s On Your Doorstep
When was the last time you went outside in your home city or town and appreciated what’s right on your doorstep? I’ve recently been making the most of re-discover my own city of Edinburgh through tourists eyes, and it’s amazing what you might find.
Discover New Heights
Quite literally, get higher. Climb to a place where you’ve never been before. Is there a hill or building that will provide you with a new perspective on your surroundings? It’s all about discovering new angles and alternative ways of looking at things.
Walk Where Your Feet Take You
We all have the same familiar routes we take each day. From going to the shop, or our commute to work. But how often do you break that routine to take a new route? Let your feet wander where they want to take you, you’re bound to find some hidden gems along the way.
Create a Backlog of Images
I almost always have my camera with me, but if not, it’s a almost a guarantee that will have our camera phones. Instead of rushing by when you see something, capture it. Store it for later and create a backlog of images you can go back to at a later date to weave into your feed. And you never know, maybe it’s not that long until you’re in the Maldives after all.
