Cigarette Trouser Trend
I’ve always loved classic vintage styles. The kind of styles were you can look back on your outfit choices and know it’s something you’d always love. That’s how I feel about tailored silhouettes, and feminine shapes. The cigarette trouser trend is one of the key pieces I have in my wardrobe.
I’ve always had a bit of a love-hate relationship with trousers. From struggling to find a pair that fits both my smaller waist and bigger bum; to being way too long on my little legs! I bought these cigarette trousers from Old Navy whilst I was on my travels in Arizona over Christmas. They couldn’t be more of a perfect fit.
What I’m Wearing
With their fun polkadot print, I’m styling these trousers with my latest favourite coloured biker jacket from Forever 21; a basic turtleneck tee from New Look, and my pointed flats are also from New Look. Accessories with my new found love for floppy hats, also from Old Navy, and my trusty tan tote bag from Fiorelli.
This is something I wore last weekend, as me and Luke took a walk around my favourite part of Edinburgh, Stockbridge. Enjoying a walk down through the Dean Village, we decided to take a much needed cake stop in Stockbridge Kitchen. How amazing is this Jammy Dodger cake?! After a coffee and cake we headed home through the beautiful Circus Lane, where we took these photos.
Weekend Wanders in Stockbridge
With it suddenly becoming February (where did time go!) I’m excited for spring on the horizon. Greenery is already starting to crop up across the city and I’ve been tending to our garden nurturing any new shoots appearing.
You might have also noticed that The Little Things has had a make over! I’m really wanting to focus on my content more this year and get back to writing about things I really enjoy. I started The Little Things to share the places I travelled and my experiences along the way in life; and it’s something I want to take it back to. Watch this space!
