The Classic White Blouse
There are three colours I tend to buy clothing in. Black, pinks and white. The white blouse is one of those classic wardrobe staples that everyone has. But why does it have to be boring? I’ve got an awful lot of white shirts and various other staple white items, but the classic white blouse is under-rated. More often than not it gets worn as a strap vest under other items, or is hidden under other accessories. For someone as pale as I am, white doesn’t have to wash out your skin tone, nor do you have to have the perfect accompanying tan.
Lauren Conrad at Kohls
I bought this white blouse recently whilst on my travels in the USA, from Lauren Conrad’s clothing range in Kohls. Can I just say – how much I am so in love with Lauren Conrad; combining classy and girly oh so effortlessly. So when I realised Lauren Conrad had her own clothing range, I knew it was something I had to see for myself. Please oh please open a store in the UK, I am so in love! I had to stop myself from buying everything. Not to mention, Lauren Conrad is, already, an ultimate style icon herself!
How I’m Styling It
I couldn’t resist buying (amongst other things!) this pretty white blouse. With it’s feminine scalloped detailing and pretty cut-out sections. As something I can quite easily dress up or down; it’s perfect for running some weekend errands, or meeting friends for brunch on a Sunday morning. I’ve paired it here with some comfortable light blue skinny jeans from ASOS, my trusty suede boots from Ted & Muffy, with simple rose gold accessories and a classic deep red lipstick from Bobbi Brown.
Are you a fan of the white blouse? How would you style it?
