I can’t believe we are almost half way through the year already, April was definitely a month which flew by. It brought lots of changes and new beginnings, with leaving my old job and starting somewhere new, I’m really starting to settle in my new position and I’m finding my role within the company more now. Me and Luke went to celebrate with dinner at our local Japanese restaurant, Harajuku Kitchen, whilst I reflected on fresh beginnings and things which have made me happy.
The weather did it’s typical Scottish thing and went from gorgeous blue skies to snow in an afternoon, and I attempted to dress for the winter to spring transition. I had time to reflect on some things at home, and spoke about battling self doubt as a young professional. We began planning our final checks for our holiday to Hong Kong and Tokyo in a few weeks time, travel money and passports at the ready!
I spent lots of time with lovely blogging gal-pals Lauren, Laura and Gillian, tasting cocktails at the All Bar One masterclass and enjoying some brunch and dinner dates, and even winning a pub quiz! The blossoms came out and all the spring flowers around the city, it’s really one of the prettiest times of the year. May will bring more hard work and excitement as we build up towards our next big adventure away at the start of June, but I’m looking forward to seeing what it brings. What have you been up to this past month?
