How to Style the Modern 70s Trend
The 70s has a been a popular trend over the years. It has seen itself come back into fashion time and time again. Well and truly in swing on the high street, it’s a great place to find key modern style 70s pieces. Of course if you’re looking for something a little more traditional, go vintage. Check out any vintage stores and boutiques for key investment pieces. They’re often a good price, and there’s nothing more original off the high street!
What I’m Wearing
I’ve been a big fan of the 70s trend for a while now. Over both spring and transitioning into summer, I love the big bold prints and warm tan colours with 70s suede textures. This top is a new one as a treat to myself from Zara holiday shopping. I couldn’t resist wearing it now and layered it up with a turtle neck tee underneath for a little bit more warmth than just having bare arms. It also has a pretty open back detail with a subtle floral trim all the way down which is another lovely finishing touch. Paired with my trusty 70s suede style skirt from Primark which has seen me through endless seasons, and equally as such my suede boots from Ted & Muffy* which I’ve worn time and time again, as they really do go with everything.
