Vintage Inspired High Street Pieces
I’m a huge fan of vintage dresses, there’s just something so flattering about their shape and style that never fails to go wrong. I found this dress some time ago now in TK Maxx, which albeit isn’t real vintage, I did fall in love with it’s recreated charm and tiny berry print. This is something I wore for my birthday last week, which was lovely to take some time off work, and really just spend some time well and truly relaxing after a super busy few past weeks. Me and Luke headed out on a wander around Edinburgh’s West End village for a nosy around the boutique and vintage shops around there, followed by a lovely meal at Italian restaurant, Locanda De Gusti, which I can highly recommend, in the Dalry area. It had a cosiness about it that you genuinely felt like we had been transported back to Naples in a summer gone by, in a families living room whilst they served us the most amazing food.
What I’m Wearing
I picked up these little heels from Peacocks for a bargain £18, somewhere I very rarely ever go in, but these little beauties caught my eye and they’re more than comfortable enough to walk around in all day, whilst just giving you a teeny bit of height. You can’t see them too well against my tights but they’re pointed on the toes too. Accessories include my feather silver necklace from Not on the Hughstreet, custom butterfly clutch bag which was another Etsy find, and my jacket is from Primark. I can’t believe we are days away from April, this month has gone by insanely quickly and I’m not too sure I’m ready for it to end just yet! How has your month been?
