How to Style the Classic Wrap Skirt

I’ve had a bit of a wardrobe overhaul recently, sick of seeing the same old things in there time and time again, I decided it was in need of a much needed sort. As we slowly edge closer to Spring I got overly excited to see bright colours coming back into the shops, so when I spotted this pastel pink wrap skirt in the Miss Guided sale for a mere Β£5, this beauty was mine. Also a sale purchase, my striped tee from Miss Selfridge again for Β£8. My necklace is from ASOS and boots from Ted & Muffy, which I love the block wooden heel!

This is something I wore the other weekend to run some errands and go shopping, though I think it would be great without tights and swapping the boots for heels for some evening cocktails. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that I didn’t have to do my usual altering of the length of the skirt for my height (or lack thereof!) and it’s so comfortable to wear.

I can’t believe how quickly we are already flying through this month, my friends are coming to stay with us this weekend for their first visit to Edinburgh, so I’m looking forward dos showing them all the sights, and having any excuse to play tourist for the day and eat loads of amazing food here in the city. What are your plans for the weekend? Have you bought any great sales pieces recently?
