February Instagram Stories: 2016
February has been a very up and down month, I’ve been dealing with lots of stress and deadlines with my job, working super long hours and just generally feeling very exhausted. That being said, it’s helped me feel a little clearer on things and I’d like to think I’m heading into March next month with a new perspective.
On a positive note, February was very much about friends and making the time to have fun and be more social. We had friends from Hong Kong come to stay with us, I ate my bodyweight in pancakes, met up with blogger gal pals and re-lived our youth, attended a blogger breakfast brunch at the new Printing Press restaurant on George Street for the launch of Edinburgh Fashion Week, I went DIY crazy up-cycling an old 1950s trolley into a bar cart, created a marble effect on my dresser, and created a pinboard travel map (DIY coming soon!)
I went to a sports ball for the final time as part of Luke’s university, we have been going for years now since he started and now he’s set to graduate from his masters later this year it was a little sad knowing it was our last one! I wore this bargain dress from ChiChi London, which you can see styled – here
Finally we got to see lighter nights come in, and the flowers are starting to bloom with tiny snowdrops appearing in our garden. Spending the last weekend in February at the Botanical Gardens making the most of the sunshine and blue skies! What have you been up to this month?
