Over the weekend I headed out with friends to a sports ball as part of Luke’s university. I’ve been fortunate to go for the previous year too, but with this being his masters year it’s sadly the last time we will be able to go! I bought this Chichi London dress to wear in the January sales which was reduced to an amazing £19 from almost triple the cost.
The dress comes with removable straps, which I did end up taking off in the end as I found it made the top of my dress pull slightly, but it’s nice to have the option. I paired the dress with this perfect fit necklace from George at Asda, which I was really impressed with the quality of, and my shoes are from Rainbow Club* who allow you to customise your shoes in whatever colour you want, and matching removable accessory to match the style. I decided to go with silver shoes as I figured they’d coordinate with other outfits in the future, and didn’t want to restrict myself just to a pale blue to match with the dress.
We all had a great evening at the ball, and I absolutely loved the dress, which featured an underlay which was slightly shorter than the lace top which made the dress look very contemporary and stylish, and I could easily see myself re-waring this for attending weddings in summer!
