Being a lover for anything vintage and a little bit different to your every day, when I was approached by I Just Love It* to review some items from their new re-vamped and re-branded website, I was instantly intrigued. I must admit, I hadn’t heard of them, but following on from the likes of Not on the Hughstreet I was impressed at their level of service and quality when it came to their customers and items.
I decided to opt for this set of vintage spoon and knife which could be customised with embossing, which I thought was a nice way to add a personal touch, and it also allowed me to pick my messaging. Being practical and wondering what I would use these for, I knew cake would always be a strong option! So I decided on messaging ‘spread happiness’ for the knife, and ‘life is short, eat cake for breakfast’ for the spoon (of course!)
The only thing is that you can’t actually choose which item of cutlery you’d be receiving, as I can only assume it’s a vast batch of vintage items that are selected at random when an order is placed. They turned out to be lovely all the same though and I was more than happy with what I was sent, I think these will make a really lovely addition to having guests over for cake and a chat!
Do you like these? What would you have as your messaging?
