If you’ve been reading my blog a while now you’ll know that I absolutely adore dresses. I own more of them than any other item of clothing and just find them so easy and versatile to wear. So when George at ASDA got in touch with me about re-styling a dress from their summer range and turning it into something appropriate for winter, I was up for the challenge. After all, I own more summer dresses than I do winter, so what was there to lose?
I decided to go for something a little bit different, as green isn’t normally a colour that I would wear, but really liked the shape of this dress and felt that it would go nicely with an autumn/winter colour palette. And how fabulous is this clutch bag also from George for a mere £16 to add a little sparkle! This cardigan also from George is one of the cosiest things I’ve ever worn and definitely made the right decision in choosing it to top off my outfit making it winter suitable. My boots are from Ted & Muffy, and circular ring necklace from Fossil.
Have you ever thought about digging out old summer dresses and re-working them for winter? Let me know how you’d choose to style it up.
