DIY Valentines Day Chocolate Fondue Picnic

Now I must admit, this normally isn’t really my thing, but with me and Luke both being off on weekends and the fact that I’m no longer (what feels like) a million miles away, we decided this year we would make the effort. No tacky gifts, no cards, just us.

We are planning on spending the day pigging out on food and just generally enjoying one anothers company. Sounds good right? I’ve put together a little valentines fondue picnic for us (and may or may not have eaten a few of the supplies whilst photographing this post…) but it’s a great little thing to do on a budget, and everything included came to less than Β£10.

Once the chocolate has been melted, and you’ve definitely just ‘tested’ a scoop..or three, dip to your hearts content – we included miniature brownies, strawberries, some marshmallows and sprinkles, and as if that wasn’t enough.. some nutella for extra chocolate dipping purposes!

Do you have anything nice planned for Valentines Day tomorrow?

Oooh, this is such a great idea! I love fondue, but I rarely get to eat the chocolate version. Because I forget about dunking things and just eat the melted chocolate, which, apparently, is wrong (*soo right!*).
