Visiting the Edinburgh Vintage Kilo Sale

Vintage Kilo Sale

On Saturday morning, me and my friend headed out to the vintage kilo sale here in Edinburgh, as hosted by Judy’s Affordable Vintage Fair. It was the first one I’ve actually ever made it to, despite being quite a vintage clothing fan, but previous times it’s been on here and in other places over the UK I’ve always had something crop up! So I was pleased to have finally been able to make it to one, and I wasn’t left disappointed. If you’re also living in, or near to Edinburgh.

Costs for Shopping

Aside from the fact that you pay just Β£15 per kilo (madness!) I really enjoyed battling my way through the rails looking for my goodies, and they were bring out new stock to keep things refreshed every hour or so. In the end I opted for two dresses and an oversized denim jacket, which I’m going to take my scissors and sewing machine to as they’re a little large on my waist and I’m certainly a bit too short for the skirt lengths! Would anyone be interested in seeing a vintage before and after?

Have you ever been to a vintage fair before? What are your thoughts on them – do you love the madness?

This post was in collaboration with the Vintage Kilo Sale. All views are genuine.
