Styling florals has always been associated with spring and summer trends. But in more recent trends this has been changing. Incorporating a love for floral prints with deep berry and dark autumn colours. Making them both season and weather appropriate with layering. Style autumn florals layered up with chunky knits and some ankle boots and thick tights to keep you warm. Opt for a grungier style with a biker jacket and some studded on-trend boots.
I was so excited to share this outfit post with you guys today, this is definitely my favourite dress right now, it’s got a perfect full circle skirt to the dress and it’s lovely and thick, perfect for autumn and winter. Another gem from Primarks AW14 range. Although this must be adding to what feels like the million other floral dresses I own, I couldn’t say no. My triangle necklace is from ASOS, worn with pointed black flats from George, and waist belt from Forever21. The park across from my flat is quickly becoming my favourite place to shoot outfit posts, the leaves are starting to fall off the trees and the air is so crisp and sometimes a little spooky looking with the evening mist settling in. The perfect scene for autumn into winter.
